- Create OAuth consent screen (https://console.gloud.google)
- APIs & Services -> OAuth consent screen
- Add ‘desktop app’
- Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts
- Enable PeopleAPI for the project
- Create Credentials
- APIs & Services -> Credentials
- Create Credentials and download to ~/.goobook_client_secret.json
- Authenticate goobook
$ goobook authenticate --noauth_local_webserver- Paste link into browser and then paste code back to goobook
- Save .goobook_auth.json and .goobook_client_secret.json for future use
